Harvard President Claudine Gay Resigns, But the Rot Runs Deep.

College presidents are dropping like flies, and frankly, most of them deserve to be fired, but maybe not for the reasons you'd think. The embarrassing performances of the Harvard, MIT, and Penn presidents during the recent congressional hearing made it overwhelming clear that these are not opponents worthy of respect. They are intellectual, and administrative, lightweights lacking basic PR instincts. Moreover, they profess a commitment to open inquiry and free expression while presiding over institutions that suppress diverse viewpoints and foster ideologically homogeneity, and now the chickens have come home to roost.
